A&R KIDS | World of Fashion and Toys for Children
01. Project Introduction
A&R KIDS in Pristina represents a new and contemporary concept for commercial spaces dedicated to children. Spanning an area of 150 m², this project functions as a large showroom and boutique for wholesale and retail sale of children's products.
The interior design breaks away from the visual chaos that typically characterizes children's stores, offering a clean, organized, and quite elegant environment. This combination of the warmth of natural wood, unique terrazzo flooring, and playful elements (such as 3D letters on the wall) creates a pleasant experience for both parents and business partners (B2B), as well as young visitors.
02. Technical Details
The main specifications that define the volume and nature of this commercial project:
A&R KIDS
Location: Pristina
Year: 2021
Area: 150 m²
Typology: Commercial
03. Interior Characteristics and Intelligent Zoning
To successfully manage the dual function (wholesale and retail) within an area of 150 m², the design is divided into clear and functional zones:
Reception and Negotiation Area: A central wooden table accompanied by elegant gray armchairs serves as a comfortable meeting point for retail customers and business partners placing large orders.
Modular Display Systems: Large integrated wooden shelves with thin metal frames offer maximum flexibility for regular product displays, maintaining a visually clean environment.
Minimalist Aesthetics and Textures: The terrazzo-style floor combines high durability (essential for commercial spaces) with a retro-modern aesthetic, while console stairs without heavy railings add a sense of space and visual airiness.
04. Architectural Vision
"With A&R KIDS, our aim was to create a commercial space where business meets play. We eliminated the overload of strong wall colors to let the products themselves shine, creating a dignified showroom for wholesale and retail sales."
Focused Lighting: Minimalist linear lighting fixtures suspended above work and display areas ensure even lighting and highlight the true colors of the products.
Integrated Graphic Identity: Decorative details on the walls subtly and artistically announce the nature of the store, without compromising the overall design elegance.
Vertical Utilization: The presence of a mezzanine (intermediate floor) via elegant stairs allows for the separation of administration or storage from the main sales area.
